Dave Smith
This is just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed the basic hand plastering course I attended last week, and how pleased I was to obtain the level of skill I did during that time. As you know I was somewhat dubious as to whether I would acquire the skills I wanted within a week...

Mr H.J. Nash

I attended the South West School of Plastering to learn the basic skills of plastering with the aim of becoming a plasterer. I took the Vocational package as it covered all the topics I wished to learn.

When I arrived to start my course, it became quickly apparent that it was entirely a practical, hands on course designed to spend as much time learning and practicing as possible, with the minimum of fuss. I found the centre itself a good working / learning environment, well equipped with both materials and tools.

The course itself is intensive but varied, and I found you were able to work at your own speed and within your own abilities. I felt that your individual progress was closely monitored, but in a non-intrusive way that did not induce any pressure. All the instruction was positive and constructive, and my numerous questions were dealt with comprehensively and patiently.

In summary, I now work within the trade, and I have found all the instruction crosses over to the real world. it is a testament to the effectiveness of the Vocational Course, and the instruction of Andy that I am now able to rely on subject knowledge and basic plastering skills taught and learnt at the School to advise on, prepare and undertake plastering for clients to a high standard.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Vocational Package as an essential step to anyone considering the plastering trade.

With many thanks to all at the South West School of Plastering.
