South West School of Plastering is an innovative, vocational training school, which provides weekly courses and qualifications in plastering. We are based 7 miles from Taunton, Somerset.

We’re one of only a few plastering schools in the UK, who are City & Guilds accredited. The Somerset Skills Alliance and the Construction Industry Training Board also recommend us as a centre for training, in accordance with the government’s ‘Success for All’ initiative.
Our weekly courses and City & Guilds qualifications are held at our purpose built site, which allows you to practice what you’ve learnt at your own pace. Our professionally qualified tutors are always on hand to answer your questions, show you new techniques and ensure that you have an enjoyable and useful learning experience. NVQ2s are assessed at your place of work.

We offer one week courses, NVQ2 and a City and Guilds vocational qualification. NVQ2s are for experienced workers wanting to be fully qualified, City and Guilds give you the skills you need to begin a successful plastering career.

We also host specialist courses such as Venetian plastering.
