Basic hand plastering

This course teaches you the core skills needed for plastering.

You’ll learn how to:

1. prepare a wall
2. fix angle beads to external angles
3. mix sand, cement and plaster materials
4. apply backing coats (i.e. sand and cement render and bonding)
5. apply finishing coats to give a flat, smooth surface
6. measure, cut and fix plasterboard safely and accurately
7. plaster ceilings with a quality finish
8. repair damage to ceilings and walls.

 

The course runs for 5 days, Monday to Friday.
